Founder & CEO
Nabil Kazi has spent his entire professional career as a respected and successful global marketing executive in the entertainment industry. He is a powerful convenor and connector, using his strengths and network to build Project Imagine as a platform to mobilize support for orphans and vulnerable children worldwide.
He has built innovative and successful global campaigns in film, television and sports and has worked with many of the industry’s most successful and award-winning directors, show-runners, producers, talent and global brands.
He spent 18 years at The Walt Disney Company in various roles including head of marketing, developing the marketing, execution and publicity strategies for Walt Disney Animation and DisneyToon Studios.
Prior to the animation studio, he spent time at ABC Television Network marketing major programs including LOST, Grey’s Anatomy, Dancing With The Stars, Castle, Modern Family, The Middle, Wipeout and The Bachelor and being the key contact to all ESPN programming on ABC including the World Cup, NBA Finals and College Football.
Nabil spent seven years in a corporate role working with Disney’s key alliances such as Coca Cola, HP and Kellogg’s and was part of the marketing team for the Grand Opening of Disney’s California Adventure and Hong Kong Disneyland. He held positions in Disney Consumer Products in Burbank and Hong Kong where he was the youngest executive to lead the licensing and retail efforts in India and Pakistan and managed the early relationship with Pixar Animation Studio and Miramax.
Nabil also worked at 20th Century Fox on marketing properties such as The Simpsons, Family Guy, New Girl and film franchises Ice Age, Rio and Avatar.
Most recently he was Senior Vice President of Marketing and Brand at Illumination Entertainment, working closely with Chris Meledandri and the NBCUniversal global marketing teams to strategically execute successful campaigns for The Secret Life of Pets, Sing and the billion dollar box office hit Despicable Me 3 while helping to create the strategy for The Grinch.
He is a seasoned adventurer, two time Ironman Finisher, 17 time Marathon Finisher and has challenged himself to climb the seven summits. He is currently training to climb Mount Elbrus in Russia, June 2020.
Ravi Bhojwani is a seasoned business executive with extensive experience in operating large scale businesses, making investments and advising start-up companies through the family office that he manages. He is passionate about finding solutions to social needs, spirituality, self-development and supporting others on their journeys.
Based in Los Angeles, he is a board member of Project Imagine, a partner in Viu Properties 2 and a lead investor and board member of www.boxofstyle.com.
Ravi was born, raised and educated in Canada. He began his career in New York in the Financial Services Technology space and market research and strategic consulting. He moved to Hong Kong in XXXX and led operations and finance for Brilliant Global, which designs and markets knitwear to large American and European retailers. He helped the company grow exponentially to be acquired by multinational supply chain leader Li & Fung.
Ravi has a Bachelor of Commerce with High Distinction from the University of Toronto and has completed a certificate in Social Media Marketing at UCLA. Ravi has also studied Consciousness, Health and Healing and has transformed through three years of study at the University of Santa Monica, earning certificates in Soul-Centered Living.
Karen Seymour is the Chief Purpose Officer at human at work, helping leaders and their teams activate purpose to create high performance organizations, humans who thrive and a better world. She is an Advisor to the Shared Value Project Hong Kong and Project Imagine.
She led the Li & Fung Foundation and community engagement at the Fung Group of companies from 2012 to 2019, spearheading the launch of purpose, leading global campaigns and events, and mobilizing change makers worldwide amongst various stakeholders including over 40,000 employees in 40 countries and 350 locations.
A movement-maker and collaborator, Karen connects people to big ideas that lead to positive impact. She has built a career spanning over 25 years as an agile leader with diverse experience at large companies and start ups, in industries including financial markets, the supply chain, media, philanthropy and wellness. She has experienced the tremendous growth, challenges and opportunities of Hong Kong and the Asia Pacific region since shifting her career from her hometown of Toronto, Canada in 1993, and through working in regional and global leadership roles with Manulife, Datastream/ICV, Morgan Stanley Capital International, State Street Global Advisors, NewspaperDirect and Li & Fung.
Her own purpose journey has been forged through decades of serving in communities, seeing and experiencing social needs, sparking awareness and action, and witnessing the transformative power of purpose when hearts and minds are tapped for good.
Besides working with passionate people on creating impact, Karen thrives by challenging herself every day and by connecting to the natural world. She loves adventure, spending time with family and friends, being on the water and in the mountains and is obsessed with paddling, hiking and collaborating to build a better world.
